Add new commentthyroidstory.mivox.com was started as a simple blog dealing with my new diagnosis of hypothyroidism. Topics include medical information about hypothyroidism, information about hypothyroid medications like levothyroxine (Synthroid) and Armour Thyroid, as well as natural supplements like Thyromine, vincopectine and various vitamins and minerals. The site has now expanded to include discussion forums where other hypothyroid patients can discuss their experiences with hypothyroidism, and share tips for what medications, supplements and weight loss strategies have worked best for them.
lab tests are in...looking good! Submitted by Guest on Wednesday, 3 January, 2007 - 2:52pm I might have written the nov. comment, sounds just like me but I have no memory of it,such is the hypothyroid life. I went to my dr. and he subscribed amour based on my symptoms and lab results from sept ( I think I remember seeing .1 TSH when he showed me the labs). He also did a FNA because ultrasounds of my goiters are not clear. I am on 1 gr. armour now, I need to call him in 1 month. So far, its been almost 2 weeks, I feel better when I am awake but crash in the afternoons, the same as when I was on 100 mcg of levothyroxine, but I have also been on vacation ( I work at a school, so we are on winter break). After all that, my question is, should I take my meds with coffee? I have been in the morning, just a splash of milk and 1/4 -1/2 tsp of sugar, should I wait an hour to drink coffee even? Any info would be appreciated. Reply |
