Add new commentthyroidstory.mivox.com was started as a simple blog dealing with my new diagnosis of hypothyroidism. Topics include medical information about hypothyroidism, information about hypothyroid medications like levothyroxine (Synthroid) and Armour Thyroid, as well as natural supplements like Thyromine, vincopectine and various vitamins and minerals. The site has now expanded to include discussion forums where other hypothyroid patients can discuss their experiences with hypothyroidism, and share tips for what medications, supplements and weight loss strategies have worked best for them.
Hello , need help with a question? Submitted by Guest on Sunday, 13 April, 2008 - 6:27pm I have had hypo-thyroidism for a year now. My doctor put me on synthroid 75mcg but I cannot seem to lose any weight. no matter how much I exercise or how little I eat, and I try and eat right, I cannot lose this disgusting weight. I ballooned up and for someone that was in good shape this weight on me is making me feel horrible about myself. Would it be okay to take Thyromine and my synthroid? Because I have been desperate and my doctor says my thyroid is OK. Within normal range, but I still feel tired, sweaty at times and my heart some times does palpatate? Can you please help! Reply |
