Topics include medical information about hypothyroidism, information about hypothyroid medications like levothyroxine (Synthroid) and Armour Thyroid, as well as natural supplements like Thyromine, vincopectine and various vitamins and minerals. I'd been taking approx. .68mcg of levoxyl plus 1/4 gr. Armour thyroid with no problems. My doc was trying to keep my TSH level at 1.0. Last time I was in her office, I was at .6 Recently, in fact so recently that I've yet to contact my doc, I started having palpitations, lots of them. I stopped taking the Armour, and Monday will put a call in to get my medication adjusted. I also have sweats, but really hadn't given that too much thought. Guess that's most likely the Armour too. I'm not knocking the Armour at all. Initially it was the only thing that energized me at all. Reply |
