Add new commentthyroidstory.mivox.com was started as a simple blog dealing with my new diagnosis of hypothyroidism. Topics include medical information about hypothyroidism, information about hypothyroid medications like levothyroxine (Synthroid) and Armour Thyroid, as well as natural supplements like Thyromine, vincopectine and various vitamins and minerals. The site has now expanded to include discussion forums where other hypothyroid patients can discuss their experiences with hypothyroidism, and share tips for what medications, supplements and weight loss strategies have worked best for them.
Levothyroxin-How To Take It Properly? Submitted by Katrina Victim ... on Monday, 6 August, 2007 - 3:22pm I am Nancie and just registered as Katrina Victim Nancie. This is an addition to my above post. I can swallow all kinds of big vitamin pills, but for some reason this little pill gets stuck in my throat and won't go down, even after a few glasses of water. Can I take it with HOT water? Is it okay to eat a small piece of bread or a cracker or something small just to make it go all the way down? It just seems to stay stuck in my throat. Can I chew it and then drink a bunch of water or does it have to be swallowed whole for time release? Thanks Again! Katrina Victim Nancie Reply |
