Moving house ...thyroidstory.mivox.com was started as a simple blog dealing with my new diagnosis of hypothyroidism. Topics include medical information about hypothyroidism, information about hypothyroid medications like levothyroxine (Synthroid) and Armour Thyroid, as well as natural supplements like Thyromine, vincopectine and various vitamins and minerals. The site has now expanded to include discussion forums where other hypothyroid patients can discuss their experiences with hypothyroidism, and share tips for what medications, supplements and weight loss strategies have worked best for them.
Well, after all my sites went down for over 24 hours with no communication from my hosting company as to what was going on or when it would be fixed, I have decided to (argh .. for the 5th time in the last two years?!) move to a new hosting company. If, at some point in the next couple days, a handful of new comments seems to 'disappear', just bear with me! I'll be downloading the most recent version of the database here and uploading it to the new server as soon as the domain names update to the new location. Of course, as with all upgrades, the new host is more expensive ... but hopefully the better quality technical support will be worth the cost! |
